To blog or not to blog
I must confess to being annoyed that some geek has decided that we are all going to have fun, fun, fun exploring the wonders of Web 2. I'm not remotely interested in Web 2. I love the internet, I use it all the time, exploring skeptic sites, beading sites, archaeology, fringe science. I read several newspapers from around the world. I don't need 80 diferent rss feeds. Blogging has its uses, but is also one of history's greatest ever vehicles for aimless narcissim and attention seeking. So there.

Aww. Sorry to make you blog, I know it's not the most fun thing in the world to do, I hate it myself.
The training course is an eLGAR training for all library staff, being done at Auckland, Waitakere, North Shore, Rodney and here at Manukau. We're just hoping that it's not all a chore and you actually like some of it. :)
And you can call me Miss Geek.
See you are exploring alot..don't forget to put a title and comment on your blog as you travel through the programme...e.g.what you liked, didn't like, was it hard, this was fun, something new, something interesting etc
